My primary role as one of the associate pastors is to discover what a digital faith community can be by developing and leading our online campus. I see my primary responsibility as equipping people all over the world to make disciples who make disciples and to explore how we might love God, love others, and live out the gospel life in that context. I also partner with Pastor Ryan to shape the direction of discipleship for the people who call Christ Church home.
I am a native of Northern Virginia and grew up only a mile down the road from where the church is located along Ox Road. I studied music at George Mason University and I've been a local clarinet and saxophone teacher for about a decade. Most of my life, I would have identified myself as agnostic, but I came into a personal relationship with God when my future wife invited me to see her play in the worship band at Christ Church back in 2011. From there, God put it on my heart to go to school to become a pastor and I graduated from Wesley Seminary in May of 2017 with a Master of Divinity. Christ Church is my very first appointment and I am truly blessed to be serving a church that literally transformed the course of my life. I am eager to see what God will do next!
