Two Commonly Asked Questions

Q. If my child’s birthday is past the cut-off date, will you make exceptions?

A. In an effort to be fair to all families, combined with the high enrollment demand, we are unable to make any exceptions to the age requirements for the 2007-2008 school year. Students will be enrolled in an age-level class according to their age as of September 30, 2007. In order to enroll for the Transition Classes, students must be four years old as of March 31, 2007.

Q. My child’s birthday is in the middle of the school year. After his birthday, can he move to the next age-level class?

A. No. All students in a class will age up together as the year progresses, but will remain in the same class.

Q. Can mom and dad split the responsibility of waiting in the registration line?

A. Parents may split the waiting time, as long as a representative, parent, or guardian is present from the time the car is pulled into the registration line until numbers are passed out. Mom and dad, etc. can alternate during the wait time (for bathroom breaks, sleeping, caring for children etc).

Q. Can two families arrive for the registration waiting process in the same vehicle?

A. If two families arrive in one vehicle and remain for the duration of the waiting period, it will be up to them to determine the order of numbering. Two families may arrive for registration in the same car. A representative for each family needs to be on the church grounds from the time the car is pulled in the registration line until registration begins.
