Part of being a family is supporting each other in good times and in times of need.
Our Congregational Care team is here to do just that, by serving one another for God’s glory.
Our Congregational Care team is made up of believers who know how to prayerfully give one-on-one encouragement, comfort and hope. This team of caregivers comes alongside those who are in various hurting situations such as suffering, grieving, sorrow and loneliness to offer support and encouragement.
Counseling |
|
We serve our church family by providing one-on-one confidential relationships through short-term biblical counseling and referrals for long-term care. |
Assisting and Serving |
|
We serve our church family by providing meals, transportation, care and hospitality in times ofl need or celebration. Whether it is the joy of welcoming a new child into your family or the stresses and strains of dealing with an illness or hospitalization, we are prayerfully by your side. |
Hospital Visitation |
|
We make local hospital and nursing home visits to our church family to pray with, fellowship with, share scripture with and encourage those in need. |
Prayer Chain |
|
Our prayer chain consists of people who seriously and faithfully pray for our church family. |
Funeral and Reception |
|
We share God’s love, comfort, strength and guidance to families who have lost a loved one by coordinating funeral or memorial services, as well as visiting families, praying, listening, reading the Word and providing food for receptions following funeral or memorial services. |
If you are in need of being served by our Congregational Care team, please contact the church office at 703.690.3401 or email Dana Neese, our Director of Congregational Care, at dneese@christchurchva.org.
We want you to know that more than anything we are here for you. |
