Part of being a family is supporting each other in good times and in times of need. Our Care and Counseling teams prayerfully provide one-on-one encouragement, comfort and hope to those needing support—whether it's the joyful arrival of a newborn, traumatic loss of a loved one or anything in between.
Do you need to speak with a pastor? Please call or text our pastoral care line anytime to speak with Pastor Ryan for prayer, visitation or any other spiritual care needs: 703.493.0116
You can also join Pastor Ryan on Thursdays from 4–6pm at Starbucks (8971 Ox Road, Lorton, VA) anytime you'd like an informal conversation in this casual setting. Get to know each other, talk about faith, theology, ways God has been at work in your life, what's on your mind or heart, or just take a moment to enjoy life in the community. If you'd like, text to let him know you plan to stop by (703.493.0116).

ASSISTING & SERVING
Whether in times of celebration or struggle, we are prayerfully by your side and can provide meals, transportation, care and hospitality. This includes local hospital, hospice and nursing home visits to pray, share scripture and encourage those in need.
In addition to pastoral counseling, we provide short-term Christian counseling for adults, children, teens and those with intellectual challenges. We also make referrals, when needed, to another competent and caring Christian counselor, psychologist, or psychiatrist. Call the church office (703.425.3580) to schedule an appointment. Fill out the form below and bring it with you to your first counseling session.
We all experience difficulties—the loss of a loved one, a spiritual crisis, cancer, hospitalization, disability, discouragement, divorce, job loss, rehabilitation, loneliness, and many other situations. God instructs us all to reach out for help and not endure problems on our own. Our Stephen Ministers® are trained to provide confidential, one-on-one listening and prayer to adults experiencing a crisis, facing a challenge or simply going through a tough time.
Special needs ministry
We seek to support individuals who have special needs and their families. Our Friendship Club is a small group of young adults that meets weekly during the 11 am worship service, and our Buddy Program offers one-on-one support from a trained volunteer. Call the church office (703.425.3580) for more information about this ministry.
